I've had this monitor around for a few years and I can't find a model #. Its a WG, but not sure exactly which one. I think it came out of a Turbo Force cabinet. I need to get an isolation transformer for it.

Kind of looks like one of the Zenith manufactured K7000A's. I've never run across one, but the board layout and anode cap looks very similar to the pictures I've seen.

Thanks. It does have the 2 flybacks to 1 anode. I need to get an isolation transformer for it. Is there anything special? I got rid of all my parts so need to buy one.

I got the transformer as was going to hook everything up. I then realized that this monitor has been sitting for a few years, so I should cap it before powering it up. I have a few cap kits for K7000 sitting on the shelf. I know the flybacks are different, but should the cap kit be interchangeable? Is there anything else I should do when I'm in there? This monitor was given to me working, but its been sitting on the shelf in the garage for a few years.

I just capped one with the 7000 kit, brought back from the dead, flys are near impossible sto find I hear... don't know that it's a necessity before you try to power it up but if it doesn't work and has neck glow(sonds like HV comes on), a cap kit got mine running

I would power it up first to see where you are at.

If it works and you cap it and than it doesn't work, you know you made a mistake.

If it is totally dead, you'll have a chance to order more parts on the same shipping bill with the cap kit.

i would cap it and give it a good re-flow.

the K7000a chassis are good chassis.

many times it is just bad caps and cold solder on them.

if you hit a brick wall, your welcome to send it in.
if you need parts i stock them.

Peace
Buffett
