The switch on Dracula doesn't have a diode so I'm putting it on. My question is where does each wire go? Would someone mind telling me:

Which lug on the switch does the Green / black wire go? Mine has it soldered to the lug on the long side of the switch (bottom when looking at it installed).

The white & orange are on the Terminal strip lug. I don't think this is correct?

I'm thinking the banded side of the diode goes to the lug on the short side of the switch (right). The other end is at the terminal strip & white/orange lug. Is that correct?

Thanks!!

Your switch probably has three legs - common, normally open, and normally closed. Connect your two wires to the common and normally open lugs. it shouldn't matter which one goes where. When doing a meter reading, it should measure as open until you activate the switch, when it should measure as closed.

Then, attach your diode so that the banded side is to the lug with the green/black wire.

All of this can be seen on page 61 of the PDF of the manual....

All of the switches (on this game) like these only have two lugs. When I put the white / orange wire on the terminal strip assembly like all the other switches, my fuse blows. When I put the white / orange on the lug, it does not blow. Here's a link to the way I have it now, with the fuse blowing.

Some would say to wire it so it doesn't blow but I don't want to do anything wrong that's going to bite me later.

Thanks for the patience. I know just enough to be dangerous.

Okay now, I know with all these Taxis recently acquired that someone can take a peek at the Dracula switch and tell me if my wiring's right. :)
