Anybody have an image for the standard course version of Golden Tee 2005?

My hard drive is crashing...(game will reset and then go to file checksum tests and hang)...

I'm trying to figure out how to image this drive (if I can) and reinstall it onto another drive...

So far, I'm only finding information on how to transfer an image to a hard drive.

I know it would be easy enough just to order a replacement, but I have extended family coming over for Christmas Eve at my house. I finally set up my garage this weekend with my arcades to entertain and naturally the game I know which would get the most play is down!

HELP!

I'm trying to copy the GT05 image from my failing hard drive, but I can't get windows to recognize it.

Anyone willing to image their drive and torrent it for me? Or point me in the right direction link-wise?

I have one but have no idea how to do what you are asking.

it's a red board.

This is for another game (obviously), but the same principle should apply.

For what its worth, a power line went down on my block early afternoon Christmas Eve and I didn't have power until 4:30 AM Christmas morning.........so........there was no Christmas gathering at my house.........

If anybody eventually gets this image..please drop me a line....I need to learn how to rebuild these images.

The above info works to copy a gt hard drive.

Also, you can (i've found) copy it, even if the hard drive won't work in the game like yours isn't. Just follow the instructions on that Killer Instinct project site, copy a chd from the hard drive, and then burn the chd file on a new hard drive.

Also, you want the 5 course hard drive but if you get the 7 course hard drive, it'll still work with yours, it'll just have the original 5 courses. If you get an image of the 7 course drive it'll work in either machine.

I hit the same spot on the hard drive (block 6190) while copying.....then it starts crawling.....like 30 seconds to a minute for each block after that. At the rate it would be about 3 days to copy. I imagine it's probably copying NULL values.
Before, the game would at least boot and run through the demo for a few minutes before resetting....now the hard drive isn't even recognized on initial boot since my last copy attempt. :(
