I have a shorted C37 & C38 on my K7000 chassis (WG 25K7191). Does anyone have any dead boards they are not using? If so, could you give or sell me the C37 & C38 from it? Thanks in advance.

buy them brand new they are saftey componets
u run the risk of snapping the neck on your tube right off
do not mess with them
if u drive the horz freq to far out..u will get little grey smoke fairies

I replaced my C37 & C38 recently too, this is what I used.

C37 = PANASONIC ECWF2154JAQ (150NF, 250V, 5%, Polypropylene)

C38 = PANASONIC ECWF2394JAQ (390NF, 250V, 5%, Polypropylene)

Working great (no little grey smoke fairies :) ), only cost a couple of £ off ebay.

Okay. I really wanted to order them brand new but I just didn't know how to find the correct replacements when searching on Mouser and Digikey. I see that "Elektronix" just posted some details for me to buy them off Ebay so it looks like I should be good then. I'm new to this stuff and learning as I go so I wasn't aware that they were "safety components". Thanks!

Oh man, that's perfect. I really appreciate the detailed information so I can order new ones. Trying to find replacements on Mouser and Digikey has been a pain for me. Thanks!

You're welcome :) can't go wrong with quality Panasonic caps, mouser/digikey should have them too.

For me it was C36 that was very hard to find, but Chad at ArcadeCup.com came to my rescue! and only took 6 days to get from Wisconsin to England.

I did a search on eBay for the c37 and no luck. The c38 came up though. I'm going to check with Chad at arcadecup.com too and see if he has them in stock. Thanks.
