Good evening! I'm working on a piece of art based on the marquee for Galaga, but I can't decide which colors to use. I have narrowed it down to two options (attached). Option A represents how the marquee might look if the cabinet was turned off, and Option B is closer to how it looks when the backlight is on. My question is, which do you like better? In specific, is there one that makes you feel more "nostalgic?" Intuitively, I would assume it's the "lights on" version since you can't really play arcade games when they're turned off; however, most of the results that came up in my Google image searches were for the "off" colors. I greatly appreciate any feedback you would be willing to share. Thank you!

I am switching back and forth. The pictures look the same for me. Is it me or is my eyes are being funny?
First off, thank you for taking the time to look! Secondly, the colors are pretty darn close, so I'm sure your eyes are fine. Perhaps there is no wrong choice for me here. Thanks again!!

Picture 1 with the ever so slightly lighter green looks better to me. Based solely on the bright green triple threats that show up a few levels deep.

They both look fine on their own. If you're comparing the two, the first one looks slightly washed out to me. I prefer the second one, but wouldn't notice the difference if i wasn't looking at them side by side.

Just my one thought. For any sort of realistic comparison upload more than a 66K file.

Otherwise a sound question.
