So, I finally gave up trying to bring the WG K4500 in my Galaxian cabinet back to usable quality. I ended up buying a K7200 off EBay that is is excellent condition. I believe I have figured out most of the connections from the Galaxian schematic and the K7200 manual. But I need some advice for a couple things:
(1) The K7200 has a 3 pin Molex for power. What do I do for the ground connection? The K4500 had a wire that went from the cabinet and clipped to the chassis frame. Should I connect that to the ground pin?
(2) Is Galaxian positive or negative sync?
For the power, I was going to buy this: http://www.wellsgardner.com/products/details.asp?sPartNum=038A8081-000
so I would not have to cut the connector on the K7200 to mate it up (I may cut the plug on this and wire it to the cabinet). If anyone has a better suggestion, it would be welcome advice.
Thanks!
