I might get a Super Scope for my SNES since it plays T2 as well as Operation Thunderbolt, however before I browse online auctions to purchase one I thought I better ask if these things have any issues I need to consider.

I have my SNES hooked up to an old CRT TV so nothing to worry about there. But is the Super Scope powered by weird proprietary batteries or really easily damaged in shipping or anything else I should be worried about?

Better yet, did they ever make a slightly smaller one?

They only made one and it takes normal batteries. 6 AA if I remember correctly? It's from the era of things taking way too many batteries. It's not super delicate but should be packed really good.

I presume your TV is an older 60Hz CRT, not a newer 100Hz?

Yup, definitely an old 80's TV. Given these things are fairly pricey for shipping off eBay, I think I'll just browse the flea markets and see if I can pick one up there. Too bad no one made a third party gun, this thing is huge!

I have one complete in my shop for sale, PM me...I know mine works

Mine has the 6 game cartrigelazer blazer, Intercept, Engage, Blastris, Blastris A, Blastris B, and Mole Patrol

The Gun is in the original box and looks like new, Eye piece included Sensor is not white from sitting, but it works perfect...
