With the help of Alan173 here on klov, we are diagnosing my XM 701 black and white for my Gun Fight.

We have determined at least one component is bad on the chassis: Q2 transistor

Here's my question. We want to confirm cross reference #'s for ordering parts from Mouser Electronics.

We know Q2=P2S=(NTE159)(Mouser part # in parenthesis)

Here's what we think Q1,2,and 4 are; can someone confirm?

Q1=A6H=(NTE123ap)

Q3=A1M=(NTE154)

Q4=A8H=(NTE123ap)

NTE crosses are deceiving.

Many common transistors cross to NTE123AP.... ones like 2n3904 and 2n4401 that you should be able to pick up even at radio shack....

Don't overpay for NTE crap if you don't have to.

I agree, those crosses will work.....I also agree, NTE is overpriced crap. I checked my NOS stash.....I've got some A1M's and A8H's....but all out of A6H's.

Thank you gentlemen for the info. I'm pretty green with this stuff, so everything I can learn and soak up into my small brain helps a lot. I appreciate it!

Soon I will have a 100% working Gun Fight.....
