Need Advice Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat broken wheel?

I just got a Nice Indy heat everything is working accept the red wheel. The red nitro buttons and gas all works.

i have switched the boards on the wheels to test them and there fine.

i have switched all the wires from the red and blue wheels around and the red wheel works fine controlling the blue car. but the red car still don't.

i have traced all the wires from the red wheel back to the main PCB board where they connect and all wires are good ...

i have have removed the main PCB and looked it over ... it all looks good to me. I cant find a schematic so i don't know what my next step is.

I have also ran the machine in service mode , and everything checks out ... accept for the red wheel of course ... anyone? what part of the board controls the "controls" or is there something other than i need to check .... the voltages perhaps ... could a weak power supply cause an issue like this?

Anyone out there have anything for this game ... A manual PLEASE!!! ... even a picture of someones pcb so i can compare them?

Thanks for the help, all the links I have found are dead or others looking for the same thing. I'm still looking. its got to be out there somewhere.

just go to that link and click on the name of the guy that has the manual and send him a personal message.

Link may be dead but he is probably still on here.

I sent him a pm and a link to this thread. He will be much more help with this than I could be.

Just a tought but you might want to use your dmm to test the connectors.

Also, what about cold solder joints on the headers on the board, stuff like that. I had a manual but this was a couple years ago.

If you need any help getting off road working I'm your guy, I still have all that stuff and it worked well.

I should have some time this weekend to take a look.

ill check all the wires and connections again , how do i locate the chip responsible for the red wheels function?

Photos!!!!

here's what I'm looking at ( http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/192/indyheatpcbfront.jpg/ )

look at rn10 and rn5 on the bottom right-ish of the picture , i have drawn 2 arrows that's where the 2 wires from the red wheel first come into the board right after the spade connector ... the other 2 wires goto the 5+v and ground on the bottom right of the boards lower spade connector

The traces are hard to fallow , does anyone know more about this that can give me an idea of what chip or part could be out on the board?

wich of these other chips could possibly control the wheels .... so i can just start replacing them till i get it?
