I'm currently doing my best to restore my CRT's to their former glory. I've even tracked down potentailly NOS tubes (UPDATE: They wont respond to phone calls or emails). If they work with the sanyo chassis is a differnt question in it's self (This is Moot, till I find a differnt source). However, I prefer to have a plan B.

So far the LCD Monitor i've been looking at seems to be nice: NO LONGER CONSIDERING THIS MONITOR

UPDATE:
Now considering the 19inch Vision Pro LCD

As I understand for the reading i've done I will also need to purcahse this from Mikes Arcade:

Am I missing anything here? Is this do able? Are there better LCD Options at a similar or cheaper price. I already know I will loss the ablity to play my gun games. But I see it as a stop measure for me to beable to use my machine; till a crt subsuitution is found.

Any help will be apperciated.

I am also interested to know, just wanted to chime in echoing the questions above ^^^^

I use these monitors on my workbench as test fixtures. As good as they claim to be I find myself having to mess with them all the time. As in adjusting brightnesses, screen sizes etc etc. When used as a CGA monitor the images are fairly pixelated so take that into consideration before you boot your tubes. They also dont mount worth a hill of beans so theres that to deal with too.

If you bought them already then try them. If not just fix the factory monitors and save some money. The worst that usually happens to those nintendo monitors is burn. The tubes themselves seem to be pretty tough as I've never had one go bad or need to be rejuvinated.
