Need a picture of the stylus for a 1966 Captain Kid shooter

I'm getting one for a great price but it's missing the stylus that tells where the gun is pointing.

I did find a source for a replacement, but I need to know what the correct one looks like.

Thanks!
Chas

So you're the guy that got it. I knew it wouldn't last more than a day. Would love to see pics after you work on it. It looked like it would clean up nicely.

So you were the other interested person?? He mentioned one other persone was also interested.. So, I hurried up and left a deposit. I believe I found a stylus as well. Picking it up in less than two weeks.

yes, I spoke with the seller about it and would have loved to buy it (especially at that price!), but being several states away it was hard to commit without doing some research on shipping, which is always the killer. Best of luck with the restoration. That's a cool game.

Got the game home yesterday. Almost had a tragic moment while bringing it home. I laid the game on it's back and left the rifle mounted. During the trip home I hear a loud bang. It sounded like something hit the roof of the van so I didn't think much of it. WHen I got home and opened the back door of my van I didn't see the rifle. My first thought is "oh no it hit the BG" I slowly crawled in the van and found the rifle laying on the BG. Luckily no harm was done.

On a good note while I was in the van I opened the coin door and I see the stylus laying in the cabinet.

The linkage assembly that controls the stylus is hanging there so it looks like I'll have to figure out how to goes back together. Hopefully nothing major is missing. Hopefully the pics you sent are good enough to put this back together.

Thanks for everyones help
Chas

Note to self make sure all parts are secure before loading EM's in my Tahoe...

A good reminder to us all. It always seems that the BG's that are hard to find are the BG's in the games I buy.

Great pick up and I'm glad you found the stylus...those can be hard to come by. I'll add to Daddyboo's comment and say I'd like to see a few picks of that bad boy. A you tube vid would even be better...

Good luck on your restoration!
