Heya,
I was wondering if you could help me identify an arcade game that I remember from when I was a kid. I've searched on this website and the internet generally and haven't been able to find it.
I think it would have been produced sometime between 1983 and 1993 and released in the United States. It was a vertical scrolling spaceship-type shooter. In terms of gameplay and look it was somewhat similar to Gradius or Lifeforce, although it scrolled vertically not horizontally. Alpha Mission II is also similar, but newer than the game I'm thinking of. The main thing that I remember clearly was that the bosses were like giant insects or insect-like spaceships (with claws, mandibles, etc.)
Thanks so much.
