I need to adjust the brightness, lol.
Guess I will go check bob roberts again to see if I can find something.
 
If you did your cap kit completely then you should have adjusted the newly replaced pot to the center of it's range, which is not covered in the manual or cap kit instructions.
 
Of course this assumes your capkit came with a new "black level" pot and you installed it.

You will need to adjust it.
 
yeah that's the only page I printed last night.

Turns out the brightness and color adjustments were on the back of the neck board
facing the chassis. It looks sweet now.

It isn't centered perfectly, I need to adjust that when I have a spare set of eyes.
 
I'll be attempting a pull and cap on the WGK4600 when the kit arrives.

It will be my first time pulling, and capping. God help me.

(Also, how do I adjust the horizontal size. It's that coil thing, not a dial.

there is a plastic tool similar to an allen wrench that you use to move a slug inside the coil. Bob Roberts carries it as do many others as a part of a TV adjustment tool set.
