1 - Get a sheet metal screw, about 2" long and with about 3/8" threads. Preferably one with a hex head, so you can use a nutdriver.
2 - start screwing it into the lock right where the key slot is:
Screw it in as far as you can, making sure to leave at least a half-inch sticking out.
3 - get a claw hammer (metal shaft as wood might break) or a crowbar. Put the claw on the screw head sticking out (with the lever pointing straight up) and give it big hard fast yank. The lock should break and the front half will pull out of the t-handle.
4 - look inside the handle. You should see the sliding lock-lever in the back. Just stick a small-tipped flathead screwdriver back there and slide it sideways and the handle should pop right out.
5 - unscrew the handle to open the door. with the lock-lever pushed in, the rest of the lock should slide out.
I've been able to get into a machine in under 30 seconds (I worked for a vending company back then, btw, and sometimes theft attempts would damage a lock so you couldn't open it with a key.)
This won't work well on newer-style tube locks, as they're all pretty much 100% titanium now, but those older lock were weak in the middle. If your screw pops out without the lock, you might need a larger thread size....
