Hello. I just purchased a Pro Striker Bowling, but it needs some repairs. Did you ever find the manual? Thanks.

I used to service 3 of these. The manual was a couple sheets of nothing.

What kind of info are you looking for ?

I am a big fan of the Design Plus Pro Striker machines, many fond memories of playing those. Since the machines are hella difficult to find (and I think the shipping weight is like 760lbs!) I've been kicking around the idea of building a half scale bowling lane based on the Pro Striker design (I think they basically did half scale except for the "lane" which is about half the length you'd expect). I have really clear pictures of their pin setting mechanism so I'm clear how they did that - simple but functional. I'm not clear how they kept the pins from dropping - I see a small pneumatic hoses going to black plastic rings around the holes where the pins drop but I don't have any action shots of what those do - it looks like maybe they extend a small piston to hold the pin against the side of the hole but I'd love more detail. I'd also love to see how they implemented their ball return mechanism if anyone has pictures.

They used a pneumatic cylinder on every pin. If I remember right the cylinder was normally retracted
and would extend when air was applied to hold the pin in place. The 10 cylinders were all connected
to this big solenoid manifold that controlled them all.

Ok, that makes sense! They probably picked a pneumatic solution so that they could apply constant pressure without risk of a solenoid overheating or a pin slipping down unexpectedly due to vibration. Very cool. The best pictures I have of the insides are from here but you can't see enough to tell exactly what they are doing. Thanks for the info! (y)💯😁
