Need a 48 in 1 multi-board

I was just looking for a cheap one to put in a cab that someone wants and dont have to much money.

I have a 48 I bought for $75 back when but never used. Considering you can now buy 60's direct for about $60, it's not worth selling the 48, so I keep it for monitor testing (color grid) and will probably put it in a game for myself someday...

I was thinking of building one of these 60 - in - 1 for my brother but how would you assign each game to each controller? ie: centipede to the trackball? I could build a control panel no problem but was wondering how the board knows what controller to use? probably a dumb question but just wondering

Believe it or not, the board accepts controller inputs from both at the same time, with the exception of dual joysticks on alternating games like Pac-Man.

You can actually use the trackball to move your pac-man, or use the joystick to move your centipede, although playing a game without the controller it is designed for - sucks...

So just plug and play? Wow that is cool, i always thought it must be difficult to setup. I assume they are Jamma boards? Thanks for the tips

Yes, they are JAMMA. You will need at least 2 buttons for a 48, three is optimum for a 60 but you can get by with 2.

The trackball can be connected through a connector on the board (Bob Roberts sells a cable to use between the two, as they have a different connector on each end), or you can connect it to the wiring for the 2nd player...
