Need a $2000 Pacman "Aracade" looked at by a mechanic?

I know the price is high, but...to be fair, it was looked at by a mechanic so I am sure it had all it's routine maintanence over the years; tire rotations, oil changes, coolant flushes, etc. I see the seller has a Centipede as well, maybe I will e-mail him and see what his going rate is for that one...

A mechanic "looked" at it. Didnt touch anything tho because he's a "mechanic". Gave the guy a thumbs up for ridiculous pricing.

hey us mechanic type people arent all crooked lol

It needs a new kill screen converter, your looking at about $900 to fix it!

Good jokes guys....

Realistically, $2000 is insanely high! Should be able to pick up a fully restored one for at most, and I mean at most $1100, and it better look better than when it was in its crate.

I agree. And for $1100, I'd better be getting both the original boardset and a multipac board too.

I'm about to outlay similar money to get myself into a decent Ms Pac, I think. The thought of restoring the one I have is wearing on me.

Cadillacman> I believe you. I work with mechanics every day. They're good people. :)

Do what you want, but I wouldn't feel comfortable letting my mom/wife/gf play a game in that condition.
