I got (I hope) a decent donor for my tube swap and I have a question:
On the donor (Samsung) tube, the neck board comes off easily and you can see the CR23 and the end of the neck has the plastic piece that coincides with it.
On my game (Tron) it has a WG 4900 and RCA tube. Pulled off the neckboard and the plastic is all bonded together with waht appears to be a type of white epoxy or even plaster. When I pulled it off, I could see the exposed pins on the neck.
Anyway, how do I clean this up so I can do the swap?
Thanks for any help.
