Ne craigslist pick up, Charlotte, NC guys step your game up!!

Sorry typoe on the title its supose to be NEW CRAIGSLIST PICK UP

I was working around Charlotte, NC today and I just picked these nice games up. I found them on craigslist and the ad was 2 weeks old and Id figured I give them a shout. I got a fully working nice condition Playchoice with nice ass side art. Games currently in it are Techmo Bowl, SMB3, Ninja Gaiden, Festers Quest, Tysons Punch Out and Pinbot. The timer works also on the bezel. I also picked up a pretty nice Operation Wolf that works and looks great but the sensor isnt working or some other problem but games fires up but the monitor is really dirt could be a reason why the sensor isnt registering. The gun vibrates great and looks good also. They also have and still have there a working Hogans Alley for 200$, a working Excitebike for 200$ and another nintendo cab with monitor and game board doesnt a have a bezel, has power supply, and nice control panel, looks complete besides bezel, they dont know if it works due to the fact the power cord is cut off and they want 100$ for that but they will knock some price off if you buy more than one, the guys are really nice and helped me load it. I paid 250$ for the Playchoice and 50$ for the Operation Wolf, so how did I do, Pics are below, crappy cell phone pics, better pics to come next week when I get home

I saw this ad, and talked to the guy- and lowballed him (like a good KLOV'er would). His prices were great, but I don't have the time or money for projects right now. This is the ONLY good deal to come along in a while, except for the recent auction.

Prices wasnt that bad to begin with, he only wanted 300$ for the playchoice and I offered him 250$ and he wanted 75$ for the op wolf and I offered him 50$. But the games look really great for the price and Im not complaining one bit on what I paid

Nice I was out there the other week I picked up a crystal castles cocktail and one of his nintendo cabs. i saw the playchoice and wanted it but didn't have the cash. Good to see someone snag it up.

yep- I guess all us 'locals' missed out. :)

I've been a little more selective of late. You want to try your luck on some Operation Wolf or Operation Thunderbolt boards I've got?

I dont think its the board, gun fires and everything plays right and coins up, its just something with the sensor maybe the small power board or dirty monitor or bad sensor, ill check it out when Im home next week

I know a guy who purchased a really nice double monitor Playchoice 10 for $100 at auction a while back...I forget what he actually ended up selling it for.

Operation Wolf will probably be the worst $50 you ever spent. I know people who have that game that if it isn't 100% working they can't get it working, no matter what they try. It all has to do with the gun and sensor. I know one guy who gave a working game away because he couldn't get the gun shots to register correctly after a couple years of swapping out parts.

Good luck with them though.

Maybe so and maybe I might get lucky and it will work fine , if not I paid 50$ for a nice working monitor, coin mechs, switching psu and could probably part it out but I am going to fix it,, I have been wanting this game for awhile now

Wow - does anyone realize how much Festers Quest by itself is worth?
That's a fairly sought after game. Me thinks you did just fine on that one.

Well looky what I found in the cab!!! Great shape and looks new. Also I got Operation Wolf fully working, the only thing wrong was it had a inch of dust caked on the monitor and mirror, I cleaned it off and the gun is accurate as hell!!!So i got a fully working op wolf for 50$ and its in great shape to boot

I'll be honest. Now that I've seen what you scored I'm jealous. I should have at least went and looked at what he had. Those were great prices... I guess I wasn't really looking for any Nintendo stuff, and that's what he seemed to have left. Looks like a few might be popping back up on CL already at significantly different prices.
