Heres my dedicated NBA Jam TE cabinet that I scanned. I know there are alot of people that are looking for this artwork, and they do not sell any reproduction NBA Jam art. So my next restore is my NBA Jam TE and I decided to make some repo art myself. I know Zenomorp is getting the regular NBA Jam artwork done which is awesome because once the TE art gets done both sets will be available.

I made a "How to" video on scanning the CPO and will be uploading a video on the side art soon. I know it doesnt take rocket science but I did it for the hell of it. These files have been sent to graphic artist Mikonos. If you dont know who he is he is one of the best at detail graphics. I will then do a video later on the finished printed art.

I talk about my cab and describe the condition before I scan. I know I talk WAY too much but I edited it as much as I can. And it was still a 20min video. And that was just the CPO.. lol But anyways here it is. Soon we will have NBA Jam TE Side Art. Thanks

Great Video Ozz!

Never really seen a nice vid that shows using the 4760. You seem like you're doing it right.

A few questions:

1. Any idea who's doing touch ups/who's doing prints at this point?

2. Do you know if the serial for a NBA JAM TE is different than a NBA JAM...or would it be obvious this is the wrong art if you put it on a reg NBA JAM cab if someone checked serial?

3. Are you going to do the TE sticker along the bottom of the bezel?

4. Snowballs chance in hell you would scan your MK3?

Again...great work, keep those vids coming. Nice editing btw.

cool, but the CPO was already scanned at 600dpi by Jedidentist

to answer some of zoggy's q's:

1.mikonos and prolly rich@tog or mikonos
2. yes different serials (the first set of digits are different)
3. I have scans of the TE instruction card as well as vector and raster cleaned up versions

holy hell ozman, those security bars are insane!!! especially the ones on the back, total suckage. and that's the weirdest CP Box sides i've ever seen on a NBA Jam or TE for that fact, normally they say "NBA Jam Session" on the sides not "Midway" outlined. even in the flier

I know it has already been scanned but Ive been asking around and cant seem to find it. Jedi said he lost the file and I heard that Rich said his file was corrupt or something. I did it anyways and I scanned the whole cab. And yes I even scanned the bezel for the hell of it.

Damn Brood, I didnt even check the flier to see the original CP sides. I assumed it was original because it looks dedicated. I dont know much about the releases of the NBA Jam TE. Maybe they released 2 version idk. Thanks for letting me know.

Mikonos is doing the touchups and the artwork. I did scan the bezel, I scanned the whole cab. I was gonna do the MK3 but Zenomorp is doing it so it will be available. Thanks

I'm pretty sure i still have that 600mb file.

Seriously.. I posted a while back looking for it and nobody said they had it. Thats when Jedi said he didnt have it anymore and Rich said his file was messed up.. I guess you missed it. But anyways thats good.. Either way its getting done. Maybe we can compare.

Do the serial stickers actually say NBA JAM TE? I'm going to go on a witch hunt for one, figure I better be prepared to find some obscure golden tee convert.

the eprom labels say Tournament Edition as well as the serial/warranty sticker, the serial number also will be 45043 XXXXXX for TE and 40023 XXXXXX for Regular on both the main sticker and the small stickers found on most of the individual cabinet parts. (Ozzman maybe you can confirm 45043 being the first 5 digits of your serial as i pulled those from my TE topper box).

No, I have it...I just don't have a place to upload a 600 MB file to. All sites that were suggested to me had a limit of 500MB.

Ok, I will check my serial number but I will be out of town this weekend. I might be able to do it next week since as you can see my cabinet is in storage. I will let you know. Thanks

Oh yeah.. I remember now you said the file was too big.. My bad.. Well either way it was scanned and its getting done. I did the whole cab so if you wanna redo yours in the future Jedi. But yours looks good, not as beat up as mine is.

Im just curious about the CP box sides. Mine has the Midway with the outline. I just looked at your restoration Jedi and yours is like mine. On the flier it has the NBA Jam Sessions logo. Thats kinda wierd..

Eh...it's Jamma crap, so there probably was no real consistency with it all. Just churn it out with whatever they had available. Many times the fliers have prototype art on them that changes from the actual production models. I've grown accustomed to how mine is, and I don't think I would even consider taking mine apart ever again. I have so many wires running through it with that 6:1 switcher, that it would be a nightmare. I've got a new project to work on instead...
