NBA JAM(s) Machine not turning back on. No signs of life, nothing. What to check ?

It's a bit late and I just got home from work, I felt like playing a quick game of NBA JAM; the game has been working A1 like a trooper since I got it, last time it was played was around NYE;

The game has no power switch (its a convert job); so I just turn on the power bar to start it up usually; its the only game on this powerbar.

Expecting the typical 'beep' from the sound test, I got nothing. No marquee light, nothing on the monitor, no sound, even the board inside isnt flashing; theres nothing at all.

Is there a rundown somewhere of things I should check first? I have a spare power supply I could try on, but Maybe its something really simple... Its honestly like there isnt any power going to the cab; i tried plugged it in different outlet, but nothing...

Sounds like fuses or a PS issue.

Also check to make sure the power cord wasn't damaged by the corner of the cab, puppy, mouse, etc...

Well it was several issues; it was a fuse, and also there was some sort of bad contact in the jamma harness; i didnt build this game, it was a convertion i bought for cheap, but we saw that when we moved jamma connector around, the game would also reset and only show a back screen. Touching the wire would get the game to boot.

We cleaned it up, reseated the jamma connector and it was working a1 again. The game is running right now

I've owned cabs at home for 3 years, and still I have lots to learn! It's interesting to feel 'clueless' about a subject; I work in IT and i'm pretty good at it; so getting into another field and having to learn the basics of it all over again is quite a rush :D

Thanks for the help, guys!

I think a fuse as well. If it was a power supply issue the marquee light would still go on.
Check the fuse on the power block.
