So I bought this NBA Jam pcb board with sound card off of ebay with the known problem of it reseting when it going into game play. I figure worse case I can get some extra roms/ pal and gal off the board. While taking a good look at the board in the bright sun. I see some of the chips need to be reseated. With support from the other side I press on the chips (Crunch crunch crunch).
I toss the board into my NBA jam game.

Fire it up and the board is now playing fine.
Just a litle note to the people out there. If your board is having issues. It is worth taking out your board supporting it from the back side and reseating the socketable chips.

Now you can say I have "NBA JAMS" Since I have two spare boards with working sound cards laughs.

I'll have to try that with the one in my barn since it does the same thing...

replace the battery if it continues to do this. always check your chips to make sure they are in good condition and well socketed.
