Do you have a different game board to try in your cab/test station to make sure it's not something non board related?

other than that maybe another chip came loose? i hate it when your trying to fix something and the thing you were trying to fix worked until you try and mess with it. computers/electronics can be frustrating >.<

yea, I was testing it in my Gretzky Cab. I reconnected that game and it works fine.

ugh that doesn't sound good, but not the end of the road i'm sure, have you had any luck since it stopped working?

On a side note: i got my volume pot from bob roberts today, it came with the white molex (along with a wire mount and screw ) and i now HAVE SOUND!!!!!!

you didn't reinstall the PLCC's wrong did you? or break the socket trying to get them out? lol

if a plcc was put back in backwards and powered up that's no good at all i doubt it but maybe.. i was also thinking a solder joint on the underside could have broke free.

I'm thinking the OP needs to just punt and buy a working board. they don't cost that much.
