Let me clarify for all the people on here that are new (or havent even been on here for a year even) with only a handful of posts... Every seller or buyer has their own way of doing things. I choose to do things this way... Most of the time I list a bunch of items for sale at once. As soon as I post I start getting a bunch of PMs... I return them as quickly as possible answering the questions they may have etc.
So here is the deal - I had a boardset for sale - and I say HEY EVERYONE - I am selling this - this is how much I want for it.
So I am looking for someone to buy it. Someone to say here is the money I will take it.
As soon as I post all the stuff I did yesterday (on other forums other than on here) I start answering ppl sending me msgs about everything I listed.
I get one msg from a guy that is relatively local and asked about buying it and would I be willing to meet up with him to do the deal if he bought it.
I then open your msg and it says this:
Hey, I'm interested in the narc board but do you have any more info about it? Also, what's the shipping to Houston, tx 77024?
Thanks
So I responded and told you what I know about it and told you that I plan to ship stuff today and would be willing to ship this if it worked out.
The other guy pulled the trigger - its a done deal.
Your comment about "I'm first in the thread to respond." This was posted on several other forums... KLOV is not the only place to sell arcade parts.
Meanwhile I had about 20 other PM's from other items I listed - I was printing out shipping labels and getting stuff ready to ship. I am not just sitting at my computer waiting for you to respond.
I will say this over and over and over - just because someone tells me they are interested DOES NOT mean you have priority or a deal has been struck. The deal is done when the money is exchanged.
