Wanted your guys opinion on the game NARC. I see its a horizontal shooter. Is it a pretty fun game or does it get old fast? Thanks for your input.

They don't fetch much money and usually get parted for their medium res monitor. I guess many people don't like it. That being said, it used to be a favorite dual shooter back in the day and I've been looking for a working one for awhile around the midwest / St.Louis area.

It'll be a mixed opinion on this one for sure.

I have one and love it! Yes its a horz scroller/shooter...but it has great little things that make it great. Like being a Eugene Jarvis machine (Williams), being able to blow up drug dealers with rockets and see body parts flying all over the place, driving over them with a porche with machines gun blazing, etc., etc. The real issue is the replay....well its not a long game..but it is fun and unique. If there is no nostalgia involved..then maybe its not for you.

It has all those stupid cool cheesy details sentient mentioned...which would only come from the digitized graphics era...but I dunno if anyone that didn't play it "within it's moment in time" is going to dig it now. You're definitely in the "pffffffffft hunh?" zone.

It's definitely a decent one if you haven't played it in a long time. Fun to go through with two players as well. But I agree...replay value is what kills this game. You quarter-feed through it once and you don't really want to do it again any time soon. If you're in the Midwest, go see it at Galloping Ghost arcade (Brookfield, IL). They have a pretty nice one.
