Naomi setup works but player 1 and 2 coin inserting not working
ok so i got a showcase cab and recently we saw 2 mice running around our arcade, did not pay attention to it but there is always idiot people spilling stuff and just tossing trash behind the machines at our arcade. This past sunday we were turning on our games and i noticed that on the mvc2 that we have the power cable was chewed...i separate the pedestal from the cab and see a bunch of the wires are chewed on....WOW! NICE how the hell can a mice get in the machine? but anyways i installed a new jamma harness, as im wiring everything the game works again BUT both coin mechs are not working, i go straight into the jamma and get the player 1 and 2 jamma pins, use a ground wire and it wont insert a credit...basically i cant get the game to insert a credit so i had to set it on free play this sunday which sucked, but anyways i enter test mode and every button works and joysticks...but not the coin...
this is a naomi 1 setup with the SEGA converter board, not the capcom....now i remember reading somewhere that if you have a rev a converter board or something like that you need a coin counter to make the game work...
any ideas?
