Gentlemen,
I am getting the feeling like my games are turning against me all at once. I turned on my Marvel vs Capcom 2 naomi cab today, and it gives me this exact message, "Error. Jamma I/O board not found". This forum does not have any threads that match this error message, and my best guess is to first swap out the usb cable. I guess I am hoping it is not my Capcom I/O convertor. Have any of you received this message, and if so, please tell me a good process of elimination strategy. Thank you in advance.

Check to see what cabinet version in the system menu. If its on 4 player it will give you that error. Change it to two player.

If your Naomi is powered by the dedicated Sun power supply and the Capcom by a standard JAMMA switcher then you'll see this when the JAMMA switcher dies.

It is fixed.

I checked the 2p/4p switch, and it was set correctly. The entire system runs off of one ATX power supply, and the voltages were perfect.

When this first occurred, I used an eraser on the jamma end of the I/O board. This did not fix it, but last night I took my all-trustworthy rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush and scrubbed the jamma harness connector. Magic. I appreciate the help guys.
