So I have 3x auto switching ms9 chassis and 2x manual switching chassis. I'm trying to figure out how feasible it is to modify the manual switching monitors to auto switching. I've went over the PCBs a few times and the circuit board themselves seem to be identical. I'm trying to see which components are different between the two and so far the only thing I'm able to see (admittedly I haven't gone over it with a fine tooth comb yet) is the switching relay, which is quite obvious, and on the back side of the PCB there is an additional surface mount diode on the auto switching. Has anyone attempted this yet? Any information out there before I start getting crazy with a soldering iron?

post a hi res pic of the solder side of the auto chassis.

There are many tiny SMD components that need to be added besides the relay and some of them (esp. the capacitors) are hard to identify (they would need to be pulled and measured).
