Nanao MS9-29A Isolation Transformer??

I still havent found much about these monitors. I am afraid to hookup it directly up, but it looks like it should be able too.

I have an Astro City cabinet with this monitor in it. Although the cabinet isn't working, there is no iso in it nor does it look like there ever was. There isn't an iso shown in the Astro City wiring PDF either.

Hooked it up.....nothing..no neck glow. I thinking it maybe the demag as it says on the schematic. But they both wire into the positive? To make a magnetic charge shouldnt one be positive and the other negative?

I don't know about that but if there's no glow in the base of the tube (neck) then the filaments are getting voltage and that could be an issue with the power. Maybe the low-voltage section on the monitor. I'm no expert.
Do you hear a crackle sound, like it's getting high voltage?

I don't think the degaus is needed to have the monitor actually turn on. I have several monitors that don't even have one as far as I can tell.

Again... I am no expert. Hopefully someone else will pipe up.

yep thats how this one is. powered the degauss and now have neck glow and a picture. its just garbage on screen but its a start.

input wires are strange. red, blue, green, black ,white and brown. not sure what the brown does. switched them all around for sync with changes but still garbage on screen
