I have a Nanao MS8-26U and was wondering what the circled header is for? I pulled it out of a cab and it has wires running from the 3rd and 5th or 2nd and 4th pins. Can't recall which ones and I was wondering what these do? Anyone have an idea?

I think it might control screen size or resolution. Would appreciate it if someone can confirm this.

Traced the wires and it appears that they go to a momentary contact switch by the test and service switches. It appears to be connected to A/C. It uses the white wire from the iso and ground coming from the light fixture? ON/OFF switch?

more discoveries

couldn't find any info on this board on how to change it to high and low res...so I including my discovers on the picture so far......there are still a few jumper wires to identify...like how do you de-mirror the image for a regular game?

Looking at that pic, there is another 4-pin connector to the right of the LOW connector. That is the yoke connector. You'll notice that one pin is farther away from the other three. That pin and the pin closest to it are the horizontal yoke pins, and the other two are the vertical yoke pins.

If you want to de-mirror the picture, and the game PCB doesn't have a dip switch to do it, you make sure the connector from the yoke is cut between the 2nd and 3rd pin, then rotate the horizontal part on it's two pins, and then rotate the vertical part on it's two pins.

So if the wiring is normally (the dash represents the wider gap between the 1st and 2nd pins):

Red - Blue Green Yellow

Then to de-mirror it, you would change it to:

Blue - Red Yellow Green

Understand?

Make sure the yoke is plugged into the chassis so that the yoke wires are in this order. Hope this helps.
