I successfully capped and fixed a vertical deflection problem on my MS8-25F chassis. The only remaining problem is that when I initially turn the monitor on, I can hear and feel normal static on the screen but no picture yet. So I have to turn off the switch, wait 30 secs to a minute and then turn it back on. Same thing, hear and feel static but usually no pic yet. The third time is when I usually get the screen going and after its up, it's perfect and hasn't cut out on any session I've had (not more than 2 hours at a time). Any idea what the problem is? I heard that Nanao's are picky and that if something isn't right, they will go into HV shutdown. I haven't measured any voltages and haven't tried to turn down the screen volts at the flyback. Do you think I need to adjust that since I did a cap kit re-haul or do you think I should just leave things be and not push my luck?
