Im in the process of recapping and cleaning off an old Nanao MS2930S chassis that is in a Blast City cab. Iv noticed a few places on the board where it looks like some excessive heat is happening around clusters of resistors. Iv heard of resistors on other Nanaos failing and causing issues so Id like to just replace these while I have it out. Looked everywhere and cant seem to find any schematics that list the resistors. Hoping someone here has had the same problem and may be able to help. Thanks guys!

Heres a write up on these chassis

Look it over.

search klov database for parts found bad for your model and similar models.

post a picture of the over heated resistors area and a location so we can follow

you, schematic are bad.

Good Luck

Thanks; Iv used that page to source my caps but theres no mention of resistors anywhere on there. Iv researched this particular chassis for some time in hopes of finding something as a resource on the resistors, but the closest Iv come is a blurry MS2931 schematic and the values are hard to make out. Ill post a picture of the resistors here in a bit, its a couple parts on the Daughter board, and one or two places on the main PCB.

I would not suspect them only for bad connection between each one

need to get to the filter cap and measure dc.

it would have past that board to smps transformer.

get a photo of that and we can go to the secondarys test points and

if you have your secondarys voltages then you have your primary

input circuit is working.

Confirm good connection on the board and main.

Theres a schematic some where, but not good to read.

all depending on whats missing and what voltages you have?
