While doing a cap kit on a Nanao MC2000S, I noticed dried brown residue that clearly looks like a component leaked. The component in question is labeled as L503, but i have not found this component in the schematic sheet. It is labeled on the top by what appears to be 13P04, but I am unsure if the first number is a 1 because of the dried residue.

Does anybody know what this is and where I can buy a comparable replacement?

A "L" designation usually means a coil, choke, or inductor. Being this is a monitor....I'm going to bet it's a coil. Coils in monitors are usually somewhat unbalanced......so there's glue added at the factory for stability. I bet the brown "leakage" you're seeing is actually glue. Post a picture, and we will know for sure.
