Hi, I am repairing an MC-2000 that had vertical (or horizontal - can't remember at the moment!) collapse. I capped it to fix that, and now I have a full screen.

Problem is, I have no video! If you've hooked up a monitor with no video signal, you know what you get, it's like a greyish screen with lines (as if the fly were turned up too much).

I suspect it was like this before I capped it to fix the collapse.

Anyway, I resoldered the headers, just ot be sure and have tried this monitor in two different cabs (with 100v xformers!).

Any ideas on other things I can check??

Thanks in advance!

I have one like that as well. Just a white screen. A google search a few years ago mentioned something about the neckboard. Hopefully someone here knows more.

I had a similar problem with my Turbo. White screen that scrolled. I had the board sent out to arcade cup to repair.

Had a similar issue when I got the board back. I had to dial down the contrast on the flyback. After doing that I got a picture, but it's really faint. I need to rejuv when I get the chance.
