This if from the PCB filter board of an After Burner.. What are the little black things labeled 222. I've narrowed my problem down to this filter board but i'm not sure what these are or what a replacement part / part number would be.. They are not listed in the manual anywhere or on the schematic.

Thanks

Those appear to be resistor packs. Basically several resistors in an epoxy shell mounted together to make it easier to install etc. Check them with an ohm meter to check their values.

I'm not getting a +5v to the shaker board. When I take a reading directly from board wiring I am getting a good reading. I'll test them as resistors and see what I find. I doubt they are bad. I'm thinking I may just need to repin the ends and check the board for breaks. The motor ssr board may be bad also. I got 50v from transformer so that is good. I jumped the 50v to the motor and it worked. So it's either the shaker board or that 5v I can't seem to get from the filter board.

They are 3 pin. Which is why i was leaning towards a transistor of sorts as well.. Hello to you Jigz. Nice to have someone else in my neighborhood.

After cleaning the filter board and pins I am now getting a +5v reading correctly. The problem Is the shaker motor ssr board. I'm 100% sure of it now. Im still not sure what those components are though.

I guess there's no schematic of the filter board available?

My guess is: it's both a resistor and a capacitor, in the same package. I'd surmise the three pins are: input, output and GND. OR: in, out +5 (if it's a pull-up resistor in there).

A few minutes with a DMM would solve the mystery. I rather doubt it's an active component (xistor).

How about an inductor and a capacitor in one package (the two componets you usually find on a filter board):D.

I was unable to locate any schematic on the filter board at all.. Whatever they are I think they are all working good.

BINGO!

Center pin is for the cap to ground... the 2 outside pins are for the inductor.

They tend to get broken off boards physically but can sometimes burn out like a fuse. If yours are burnt, check for shorts before replacing them.

You can rob them off of parts boards easy enough.
