I'm debating about grabing a few more games from the barn I went through last year and was looking through the pics.. What is the pin with the guitar on the side of the back-box, anyone?

I also see that there are 2 Pennant Fever's, not sure if they are salvageable, but is it any fun?

At the time I took the pics, I was more interested in the vids, but now I'm wondering if there are any gems hidden away I missed.

Also, the last pic of the pennant fever head looks like it is green, wouldn't that mean it's a prototype as mentioned in the IPDB entry?

Another view of the cabinet at the bottom of this picture:

From the backbox art in the first pic - I would say it's either a Gottlieb Rock Star or Blue Note - less then 300 of each made if ipdb.org is correct. Both single-player late 70's em.

As for the Pennant Fever, I would check to see if that cab is original, if so you may have found a hidden gem... again, if ipdb.org is correct.

Great catch on the blue note/ rock star, damn you are good!

I can get at the pennant fevers easy enough, but it will be a chore fighting my way back to the blue note. I hope to have the em shooter in my garage next month, I'll have a look at what that pin is when I pick that one up.

Thanks!

I'd be checking out the Tempest arcade cabinet. If there is a monitor in it, it is probably fixable and in great demand. The cabinet doesn't look too bad either.

As these are pics from an older raid I would guess there are a few items that have already been pulled. I would be curious to see some pics from the next visit when he pulls the EM Shooter and possibly the pins as it looks like there could be some other interesting items buried in there.

I wouldn't mind finding a place like this myself some day...

Thanks for all the comments!

Yeah, once I found out about the system 8 boards I think the amount of corrosion on the boards will dictate if I even take them to the shop, I hope to have a good look in the coming weeks, fingers crossed!

Revisiting this thread, I was out at the barn today and decided to wade over to the pinball, in the time since I was there last the glass got broken and now rather than a protective layer of dust, it has a layer of glass.
I moved enough glass to discover the it was a Rock Star.
