Does anyone have experience troubleshooting any Namco System 1 boards like Splatterhouse, Galaga '88, Tank Force, etc?

I have a full EPROM set loaded but at normal boot the screen alternates between a full screen of zeroes and a full screen of red with horizontal lines.

Test mode flashes a blue screen for a split second, waits for a bit, and then flashes a quick screen of zeros, followed by red with horizontal lines, followed by nothing.

I am wondering if my board is complete or not, I got it stripped of EPROMS and CPUs. On the CPU board, should any chips be in the slots marked 65256-150 and 62256-70?

EDIT!
Thanks to THECOUNT's for sale thread and photobucket I finally found a good picture of the not often seen CPU board. I am missing these chips!! (string of obscenities...)

Time to go on a hunt through my parts boards. Quick! Anyone know other games that use them?

Found one, parts MK1, 62256l-70

Think I got the other too, parts Leland John Elway Quarterback, a socketed LH5256L-90

Time to pull....

EDIT AGAIN!

Err..wow!....it works!!! Some of the jumpers must be wrong though...or the -90 is too fast for the game to address???

In game, notice the white characters...

EDIT: Played it a bit more and it is not a jumper problem. The sprite colors shift around on their own, so I guess it is one of the memory chips above that is causing it, my thought is the LH5256L-90. I need to find some variation of the part number for 65256-150. Anyone know of a good part number or donor board?
