Anybody know what monitor and chassis went in the namco reunion machines it is a 25"? I just picked one up today minus the chassis and nothing on the rest of the monitor to indicate what it was. I need to find a chassis but dont even know what to look for.

Wells K7400 replacement and walking pixels

My Namco 1981 reunion has a lot of screen burnin. It also has what I'd describe as walking pixels. I know I need a new monitor dir to the burn in but do you think the walking pixels are related to the monitor or the ga,e board? It's like every other pixel is lit then moments later it's dark and the opposites are lit. It's still a decent picture but certainly not right.

Was thinking I would install a cap kit to see if the pixels stop walking to eliminate the game board. I could them replace the monitor and know I don't have other hiding problems.

Do You think a cap kit will fix the walking pixels?
What's a suitable replacement for the 25" Wells K7400?

Thanks,
Dan

do the cap kit first.

fix your chassis and there is no reason to replace a good monitor.

if you want a HQ cap kit i have them.

The game PCB is JAMMA, so you can very easily swap another board in the cabinet, if you suspect it's the board. Without a picture or video of the "walking pixels", it's hard to say whether it's the PCB, monitor, or something else (like power supply, interference, etc).

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I should learn to ignore the burn-in. I'll probably do the cap kit and see what happens.
