I have a point blank I just did a (miraculous) tube swap on all by myself. I'm flabbergasted by how I did it all from scratch, and got the convergence awesome looking.

ANYHOW, I went to play it and now one of my guns doesn't work! ARGH. It's not related to my handiwork on the monitor, I'm sure of it. Just coincidence, I'm sure.

Anyhow, my first thing I did, just to make sure I didn't bump anything while working on the monitor, was switch the gun connectors going to the control panel. If the problem moved, then it's obviously something down the line. Sadly, the problem did NOT move. Blue gun still shoots and registers, red one only has blow back and doesn't see the monitor.

So, what is this? Anyone have experience with Namco system 11/12 (time crisis 1) guns? The blowback is working, the trigger is working, but the sensor is not (I guess).

Yep, looks like the board. This sucks, as it was working just the other day. Hell, I was debating parting this out, and now it's broken! Where would I find a board for this? Man, this is going to be hard.

Try to wiggle the phototransistor. If it moves with the slightest touch, one of the leads is broken. You may be able to just desolder the lead and shove the remaining lead in if it's at the board itself; otherwise, you'll have to put a new phototransistor on it. I haven't had much luck swapping the phototransistors though...
