(I was gunna go with Naked Sisters but one being a PaperBOY it made it sort of... wrong.)

Hey, you got off the Star Wars sideart!! Nice work. Did the paperboy sideart come off any easier?

OH YEAH! The left side of the Paperboy came off in 5 minutes...using my fingers only... the right side had more adhesion. It took about 40 minutes using a razor blade only.

That Star Wars... OMFG (and I don't like to use that stupid ass saying but it applies bigtime!)

That Paperboy isn't quite naked. It's got art up top and down below. A bikini maybe? And can you really call it a sister if it has the word "boy" in the title? Am I being overly technical here?

I'm very impressed... I wasn't even aware it could be removed without messing up the cabinet bigtime. Atari particle board is the worst cabinet material I've ever worked with.

Midway's vinyl was a breeze to remove for the most part, but there were a few areas that just clung no matter what method I used. The kickplate on this Rampage cab is in very good condition, and since the 2 spots where I tried to remove it pulled chunks of particle board up, I am just gonna put new vinyl over the old and save myself the headache.

I have a little bondo work to do on the Star Wars (holes in front plus very small dings here and there)... then prime/paint/art installation.

I have a bit more bondo work to do on the Paperboy. The left side of the cab is in good shape with a few dings to work out but the right side is missing both front and back corner plus a few other dings.

I've not decided if I am going to go with the bongo route or if I am going to cut out the corners and fit in new wood..

I've done both, and find both work just as well, as long as you reinforce the bondo and have some particle board to cling to. For this one, I screwed in screws as rebar and used plexi glass as forms. 3 layers of bondo built up over 3 days, remove the forms, sand, bondo the remaining voids and low spots. I've tapped these both with a mallet several times to make sure they are solid. I don't wanna push my luck, so the tapping phase has ended.

You're right, the vinyl was easy to remove.

Mine was also painted over:

Frizz, you need to upload that one to furnitureporn.com.

I always wondered why Luke Skywalker never had a girlfriend....

HOLY CRAP! That ATARI family are a seriously kinky bunch! I dropped in to the Asshat Arcade unannounced and look what I found!
