I have this Atari ADI AGM-20M monitor. It is Atari Part No. 139012-1006.

I ordered the Bob Roberts cap kit for the DISCO AGM-20M and started capping this bad boy.

About 1/4 of the way in, I realized something was wrong. Stuff was not lining up. At this point, I already replaced a bunch of caps. I stopped and decided to just replace the caps I could match. Well, it looks like I replaced some with wrong value caps. I have a huge mess on my hands.

I stopped working on the monitor and now I have slight vertical collapse. This monitor does not match the AGM-20M manual I found here:

http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Monitors/Atari Monitor TM-210 2nd Printing Disco 19in.pdf

This monitor manual is for the 139003-1006. Mine is 139012-1006. It's almost the same but it is different. The biggest difference is the RGB driver knobs (on mine) are on the chassis, not the neck board. The only pot on the neck board is for brightness.

I have searched google high and low. What the hell monitor is this? Anyone know? Where there two variation of the AGM-20M????

A cap map for this monitor would be a god send right now. I screwed this thing up and am not sure what to do next.

The monitor is just rolling and rolling and I can't make the image large.
UGH!!!!!!!

I need a cap map for this frickin' monitor. SO PISSED.

Kracker, that seems to be different than mine. :(

Here are some photos:

Notice the neck board only has brightness:

Bob Roberts says I have a "oner".

What the hell is this monitor!?!?

I really need a manual or schematic, anyone?

Bob Roberts says I have a "boner".

Hmm... did it work before? Does it look like the original monitor in the cab? Is it possible to try to re-match up caps with ones you pulled (physical cap size compared to physical spot on board, and if it's just a few changes, maybe compare sizes between replaced and replacements)?

Yes, it worked before I did this. It just took awhile to warm up.

This was a total bone-head move on my part.

I think I have two caps backwards. Which ones? :(

Atari made 2 different versions of the disco raster monitor. That is not a "oner". I have one just like it. They are great looking monitors when working.

Have a manual?!?! Schematic??? Cap map???

I can't find anything on this thing.

Got an e-mail from Bob saying he has researched this high and low and can't find anything about this ADI monitor.

Does anyone know?

I could find all the old Disco monitor threads and bump them, would that help ?

Gee, I never thought to search on the forums here. Thanks for your help.

If you know of a thread referencing 139012-1006 then please enlighten us. I have searched high and low and so has Bob Roberts.

If this is a standard resolution Disco monitor, I'd shitcan the Disco chassis and slap in a Wei-ya replacement chassis.

flyback?

I have this same monitor. I got it DOA and I pretty much did the same thing you did. Although, I'm pretty sure my Flyback is out aswell. Does anyone know where i can find a replacement?

thanks!

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I have this exact monitor too, same config and layout, it's DOA, wondering whether to replace or try and resurrect.

I'm pretty sure John threw in the towel on that disco.. As he couldn't get the parts or it just wasn't worth the effort.. Ended up pulling one from a Narc.

Hopefully he chimes in.
