I pulled out three packaged cap kits I had gotten from Bob Roberts years ago.

One didn't have documentation in it. The second had WG4600 documentation in it. And the third had WG4500 documentation in it, even though I've never ordered a WG4500 kit from him. (So I assume he erred in placing the incorrect documentation inside the package).

If I remember correctly, Bob sometimes substitutes caps and as a result the caps may not reflect all of the exact caps that are listed on his cap maps, but after noting each cap in the packages I've been having a difficult time determining for certain what these kits are. But if I had to guess I'd say all three were for the WG4600, but they are not exactly the same. Can anyone confirm? Thanks a lot.

These are apparently WG4600 cap-kits.

Has anyone posted the list of capacitors with corresponding PCB locations for the WG4600 monitors? (That would be the sheet that Bob Roberts includes with his cap-kits).

I know the kits are for the WG4600, but I don't know what positions each capacitor is supposed to go on the PCBs.

Thanks.

What do you mean by 'needed'?

A cap kit isn't about what's'needed'. Most of the caps replaced when doing a cap kit aren't 'needed' because they still work fine. A cap kit, by definition, is about replacing a bunch of electrolytic caps in hopes that one or two of them was bad an causing the issue (yeah, yeah, and preventative maintenance to replace other old caps...)

They are not part of either of the three Bob Roberts kits I have and the picture Joe 2012 posted above leaves a question mark as to whether I should get those two caps.

Below are the Bob Roberts cap-maps and also the cap-kit list for the K4600.

Unfortunately the number of caps shown on the cap-map(19) do not add up to the number of caps shown on the cap-kit list(25) as posted by joe2012.

Does there exist a later version of the cap-map?

Thanks.
