Mylar Removal

Seems like alot of the times art can still come up or inserts or paint or or or...haha I'd be scared to do it. Practice on a spot where you can't see it from the player's view, just in case it doesn't work..

Good luck!

The freeze method worked splendidly for me on my Pinball Magic.

Get 2 or 3 large cans of air, freeze the crap out of a small section-at-a-time, and pull the mylar off CAREFULLY and S-L-O-W-L-Y.

I know this has been covered before but here it is again....best way to remove mylar off a playfield ???

I used the freeze spray / canned air method on my cyclone. Worked great, though I did lose some paint on some inserts. Luckily there were decals available, so I was fine and the play field is much improved without the crappy Mylar that it used to have. I also have a pinball magic with day one mylar that I would like to remove, buy I have not yet taken the plunge due to fear of ruining an otherwise perfect playfield. Now that I see fatsquatch removed it on his pinball magic, I may take the plunge myself.

Air duster / freeze spray works for me-

High speed- It was bubbled bad around the inserts
