So I have wanted this game for years but it's never really been a grail for me. I always passed on it being that I always came across the three wheel version, problem is it would never get through my house and down into my gameroom. Fast forward to last week and I came across a two wheeled version with Trak pack,at a killer price!!! I thought to myself, hmmm two wheels? This could possibly work!! So I buy it, get it home, start to take measurements. There was no way this thing was gonna make it to my gameroom in one piece and also the fact that it has to be at least 200-250lbs fully loaded. I always strip as much as I can from my games before moving them in since I do it alone and want to move as little weight as possible, but this thing was different. I actually had to remove a part that was meant to be permanent on the machine. On the front there is a box holding the coindoor that protrudes from the front of the machine and this was the main issue, but it had to go.After breaking the glue joints loose with a crowbar, removing a bunch of screws, then prying the box a good while I finally got it off. The rest can be explained in the pic below as far as what else had to come off just to get it into the house from the garage. Second issue was getting it from the landing at the top of my steps leading down into the gameroom. If you look at the pic below of the pic of the door thats how wide that hall way is,standard door width. There was 2" of free space to move in between game and wall. I try to get it in the doorway but could only get one side in, the door had to come off the hinges and I have never had to do that to move a game in. So door comes off and I get it all the way into the doorway and start making my way down the stairway of death also pictured below. Finally I get to the bottom of the stairs and I get stuck. I can't get around the game because it's filling the entire section of the bottom landing. I decide to literally climb over the top of the cabinet and to the other side and make it,spin the game 180 and, presto!!! The game is in!!! I know one thing,it's a good thing that this game is so awesome because if it were'nt,it's big ass would have stayed right in that garage. Worst move ever!!!! Sorry for such a long rant.

The doorway, notice the width of the hall compared to the door

I loved Off-Road, but found that it looses a lot of appeal on free play. It is set up so you buy options for the trucks, but on free play this just goes on and on. Definitely a good party game, set it up to use tokens!!!!

This is why I am so happy I have a daylight basement!

Glad you got this in the basement. I looooooooooove Super Off Road

I feel your pain. I have a Stairway Of Doom in my house too, and for a game to make it down there it has to be permanent addition to the house lol!

Well I kind of did a reverse dry run to see if I could get it back up the same way I got it down and I will probably need a second person to guide the way. Other than that it's not as heavy as I though it would be pulling it back up. We'll see in a few weeks as I'll be moving. Another reason why it should have stayed in the garage, but I didn't want to bring all my tools from my shop downstairs all the way back up and into the garage. It's to hot in there anyways.

When we bought the house I'm in now, one of the contributing factors was that the stairways are extra wide and are straight.

I have a very similar setup, although I have a doorway at 90* on the bottom landing. I've successfully moved in 11 vids and a pin, and moved out 4 vids with no major incident (HOTD2 is a heavy b!tch). I did shove the end of a banister through the drywall, shater the glass dome on the light at the bottom, and put ~5x 1" or smaller nicks in the walls, but considering the grand scheme of things I've been lucky. *knock on wood*

IIRC the 2 and 3 wheel versions use the same cabinet. The control panel is just wider on the 3 wheel.
