When I got home from work my wife has picked up a Hit the Ice at a garage sale for $40.00 and it works. Cabinet is huge and different with the neck and monitor on top. Overall the cabinet is decent shape. Has a chunk missing on the lower left bottom but with a little bondo I can fix that up. I didn't play Hit the Ice much. Games says 1990 copyright so I was busy partying....er...studying in college at that time.

May be a candidate for a Blue Elf fighter.....I am open to some ideas.

That is a converted Xenophobe

Definitely a funky cabinet but lots of space on the CP.

Your so freakin' lucky to have someone in the family who's so supportive/interested in arcade machines.

Good score man. By the way that cabs a conversion of I think a xenopho, er somthing.

Looks like a decently done conversion, I've seen Xenophobes converted way, way worse. I played the hell out of Hit The Ice on the SNES in younger days, it's a fun game. Would make a neat multi, it'd be a shame to see the nicely done HTI conversion ripped off of it, but I'm partial to the game. :)

Xenophobe...That is a decent game. If anyone has a working board, ps and harness I wouldn't mind getting it back to it's original state. Send me a PM if you do.

HTI is pretty fun and I may just leave it. The control panel is pretty bd. Looks like a lot of beer has been around this one. I do wish it had a free play setting. I had a Taito Superman that was the same way. Taito just did not do free play on these early 90's games.

nice score! i wish my wife'd find me a yard sale game.

My wife is awesome. She has even been helping with the restorations. Having a women's eye on the cabinet details has really made for some very nice restores. I find that I am willing to overlook small items in the restorations but her details really do make a huge difference. She doesn't even really play the games. She does like it when I sell one once in a while....:)

Hit the Ice is really fun at parties. The games are quick and easy to learn and there is some skill to it - plus, ZAMBONI!!!

Firstly
I hate you ( not really) for finding something like this at a yard sale

Secondly,
Your wife is amazing for supporting you!!!!!!:D:D:D

Thirdly
Is Xeno a good game even? in the general peoples opinions
