I have to say that I'm lucky to have a wife that supports my hobby. She doesn't particularly like video games, but she has really found me some cool stuff that has made the gameroom very nice.

In the past, she found the arcade carpet, $5 deal on glass for the crane machine, cool lights, and helped to get machines up to the 2nd floor. Not to mention she doesn't mind me spending here and there on arcade related stuff.

Yesterday she went to a birthday party with the kids at CEC. She saved me a bunch of the token cups rather than letting them get tossed. A pretty nice way to recycle them, adds some authentic feel to the home gameroom as we use tokens for the coin drop! :D
(free of course)

I love that my wife actively scouts cool stuff for me.

My wife tolerates my games but largely ignores them. She will occasionally find cool stuff to go with them. We are presently trying to get a home loan and she realizes that I will need a finished basement rather than the small corner of the living room which my games are presently crammed into.

The CEC token cups are cool. I have never been to a CEC. I did go to a ShowBiz Pizza a couple of times back in the day. I found the animals in the Rockafire Explosion to be very creepy. Anyway, the coin changer is great and the token cups are the icing on the cake. Some day......

NOBODY LIKES A BRAGGART!! :)

Well, I gotta brag on the wife, she deserves it! :D
We all brag on the new arrivals, this was a fun way to do it as she seems to be doing the acquiring of late!
(Actually, that is like a blue moon thing around here!)

Pics of your wife or she didn't happen :D.

OK, no booby shots though!

VERY NICE! :)
My wife and the hobby......She just rooooooolls her eyes........

Lately, whenever I suggest a new arcade purchase, my wife replies "I will keel you," with a smile. And then gets serious and says, "I mean it."

I'm hoping if I get the Asteroids, Centipede and Tron out of the garage and into the basement, she'll be a little more forgiving. Glad I saved the lightest machines for last....

I can say I'm probably one of the luckiest guys on here. Not only does mine tolerate it, she actively encourages it and is as big a geek as me. When I made the suggestion about selling our restored Ms Pac that we spent a month on, she threatened to stab me. She's been an integral part in all of our restorations and has helped me restore a 9 foot pool table, Ms. Pac and is currently helping me with Galaga. Shes constantly calling me at work to tell me of something on Craiglist (like the free tempest I picked up today). I'm a lucky SOB, I admit it :-D

And if you aren't convinced yet...when I met her, she already had a Wii, 360, PSP, Genesis, grey Gameboy and a Game Gear. What a geek :p
