Hello All,
I have a Moon Patrol with a K4900 monitor and replaced all the caps that came in a bob roberts kit. While performing a Cap Kit i blew a cap installing the wrong way. I replaced the cap and the monitor worked perfect for a few days, then the vertical started flickering and the monitor is now squished in the center, overlapping on itself. I have tried replacing a few caps that I thought were the problem without any luck. Does anyone know where or what i should test or replace?

thank you,
Kenny

I attached pictures and linked video to youtube.

The entire back right corner of the chassis (behind the flyback) is the vertical section, and is notorious for having cold solder joints. Start there. Basically check or reflow everything in that area...

It works!

I did both suggestions. I re-soldered in the top right corner and traced some leads and found a bad resister. I happened to have a replacement lying around and soldered it in. It works beautifully. Thank you very much!
