My Taito Trimline Come Home

What's with the trimline love fest? I had 3 of them and could barely give one away.
I have seen several for sale on this group (recently) with no takers too.
This place can be baffling.

Where are the other two? I have a Qix trimline...

I really like the Trimline form factor. They're easy to use, sturdy, can fit in a tight space (i.e. apartments, condos) and are fun to play. You can say that about most cabarets but Trimlines seem to take the minimalist approach and it works for me.

I planned to use the already converted one (Mr Do) for my Taito multi PCB. Not sure how much drama there will be in rotating the monitor to horizontal though.

What do you think?

I kind of wanted to do that with one of mine (and the 20-in-1 Taito), but I have two SI trims and both are B&W monitors. I certainly think it's possible, but I've never looked into it. Would you be using the same monitor? If so, it should still fit.

You know that saying one in the hand is worth two in the bush?

I guess it could be modified to one working is worth two not working. I have these staring at me every day reminding me that I need to find a way to fix both their power boards. One gives 3v when it should give 12v and the other keeps blowing it's +5v fuse.

I had a second one lined up. I was going to trade the OP my Breakout and an Elevator Action for it until he screwed me over and sold it to someone else. Bah!

Cosmetically it was perfect, but non working. I was pissed b/c there was another one I had passed on locally to get the one from the OP in PA. Oh well, all is well now.

As far as the hum goes, I have a nasty saucer sound on mine. I bought a spare non working board from DJDNS a while back. I may swap out the sound boards or just the saucer pot, but then again it wouldn't be a Taito if the boards were working 100%

Crazy Climber is also horizontal. Heck, this pic is on page one! :)
