My silkscreened Missile Command control panel has arrived

Many of you are aware that a certain person was in the process of reproducing these when all of a sudden, catastrophic events occured rendering this project dead in the water. Stories of altitude and air pressure problems causing inks to disintegrate, shipments vanishing into thin air and other problems seriously had me wondering if this would ever get off the ground.

Well i'm happy to report that with a ton of phone calls, emails and constant flight path/altitude confirmations with UPS, my panel has arrived intact and it is gorgeous. If there's any of you guys out there that gave up hope, i'm here to restore your faith that this is possible. Here ya go!

lol i knew it wasn't from Dave.. because i can't even get my used fucking junk back.

This project was more or less an experiment just to see if it would work over this type of coated finish. As you can see, it did and i have to get some info from my powder coater as to what brand and finish he used before i spill all the details.

:004_shappy: HOLY CRAP!!! That looks awesome! I don't even need a new overlay for my MC CP but that makes me want one! How does cabin pressure effect these panels? I don't get it....
