My Set Up, The Good the Bad, and most defiantly the Ugly ( yeah, mame cab inside... )

Well I figured I would post some pictures of what my house looks like, and my game room.

Will also show off my Virtual Pinball machine, Home built Home theater set up, and my Home office...

Just got laid off from work, so you can tell I have too much free time... LOL.

First Off the Game room, recent Pics =)

With a Custom racking system, all monitors can spin 360 degree's and all around.

Theater Room. Used the wall as a screen, built a frame around the border of the picture, sanding, mudding, sanding, mudding, ect ect. Then Paint the area Egg Shell white for the best picture. Its a Mitubishi 6800 1080P... Looks just like a LCD inside the wall. Also added Velvet to the walls, because it gives it a nice feel to the room. ( truth is, wife wouldn't let me paint the wall's black... )

Thanks for letting me share, I am looking to improve on some things, and would love your input.

Very Nice! The theater room looks great, but I think even that is overshadowed by that monitor setup...that is sick!!!

How do you like the virtual Pin? I have been thinking about trying to do one. Are there a lot of tables now in that form factor?

I'll keep a link to this thread to remind myself of what I want to do someday when I have money again.

Very....bright.I think I'd have a one of those epilepsy disclaimers hanging up in the entry way.:p Whatever your job was,it certainly wasn't sacking groceries at Wal-Mart....geez.

Everyone loves the Virtual Pinball Machine, They play that more then anything else in the house. There are over 500 tables now you can play, and the best part is, you can design your own tables.

Wow - what did you do for a living? Your gameroom/theater looks bigger than my entire house. Real nice.

the picture with the dog about sums it up. You must have so much money money laying around that the dog sleeps on it. I kid I kid. All looks awesome. You have like everything that I would want it a complete arcade layout. Awesome.

Now give me some money.

I LOVE the Visual/Virtual Pinball. I'm working on convincing my father to have us build one of these for his next pinball project. I suppose we should get the two pins he has back up and running 100% first though.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about the lighted balltop joysticks... part of me thinks it looks cool, but part of me thinks it's too much... Do they feel like normal joys? I'm assuming the shaft and ball has to be hollowed out for the light and wiring, which would make them lighter, possibly less sturdy?
Damn that's a quote hack just waiting to happen...

All that aside, that is one bad ass room.

Nice job on the pin - but what's up with the keyboard? You should do a wireless and put it under the pin if you really need it; make a slide out drawer or something...

I am still working on a new engine for the Visual Pinball/future Pinball. New engine will have better physics, and better graphics. Also making it with native 3 monitor support.

Hopefully it will also be able to just port over all FP and VP games into it. So still a work in progress. Tho, Just like mame, I guess it will never be 100% perfect, because once you get done installing one game, a new one comes out.

Going to be adding USB's to the underside of the cab, so you can just plug in mouse and keyboard, and a flash drive for updates.

And I am a TRUE gamer... We don't use wireless mouse and keyboards... ever get your ass handed to you because your batteries died?
